Berlin's two international airports Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF)
offer a number of european and intercontinental direct connections. Please
ask your local travel agent for quotations or see the website of the Berlin airports.
Berlin is well connected to the european railway network, with high-speed
train connections to the west and south of Germany. For inquiries please
visit the website of Deutsche Bahn.
Railway transfer from Frankfurt Rhein-Main airport takes about 4.5 hours
(about 115 EUR regular one-way fare).

Weather in Berlin is usually warm in July with daytime temperatures above
20° C, but may be colder during the nights. Neither chilly periods of
rainfall nor periods of hot and dry weather with temperatures around 30° C
can be excluded. Note that the lecture hall is air conditioned, but the
coffee and poster areas are not.
