The 20 International
Colloquium on Magnetic Films and Surfaces (ICMFS-2009) is a satellite
conference to the International Conference on Magnetism, held July 27-31,
2009 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The ICMFS-2009 brings together scientists from all areas of magnetism
in lower dimensions. The Colloquium aims at a free exchange of new results
and ideas for advancing the field of magnetism at surfaces, interfaces
and in nanostructures.
There are no parallel sessions. Besides oral presentations of invited
and selected contributed papers, there is ample space for poster
discussions.
The ICMFS (initially named as International Colloquium on Magnetic
Thin Films, ICMTF) was launched in 1964 in London by Professor E.P. Wohlfarth.
